Does anyone have any experience with the BM B12 skimmer?

I've used the curve 9 with awesome results.

Just wanted to see if anyone has used this model or something close that they can review with me to help me decide on whether to get one or not.

I use a B8 which I know is smaller but it uses the same dc pump and I will tell you it is the quietest skimmer I have ever owned. It works great by the way! Don’t know if that is any help, what were you wondering about?

I have the B12 and it's HUGE and HEAVY even before the water goes in. I love it! I'll never need another one that's for sure. Cup holds lots of waste. You won't regret it if you get one. Just be positive you have enough room for it. It's a monster.

I have a 24" x 24" footprint space for it. Just wanted to make sure it's accurate on its 1000 gallon capacity rating.

I have a 350 cube with a 120 sump with about 50 fish that get fed heavily.

I'm using mine on a 240 DT and a 75 gallon sump. I have to dump the cup every single day! Gross. Your footprint is plenty. I have 22 fish to include 2 large tangs and a large foxface. Hope this helps you decide. Good luck.

I'm running the super reef Octopus regal 300 sss now. It does a serviceable job but I just feel like for the size and price it should be pulling more than it does.

Bump, I'm looking at getting this skimmer. Did you ever get it? Anyone else have one?
