I will be pulling the trigger on buying a Bubble Magus B12 in the next couple of days and was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with this skimmer.

I've scoured the web and have come up empty handed with any additional information next to what is available on the BM webpage.

I'm specifically looking for flow the overall flow rate of the pump (not just air intake), whether or not the pump has a DC controller, and pictures of just how big it really is. From what I understand the collection cup on it is in nearing the 15" point?

I'll be using this skimmer on my 450 gallon display with its 150 gallon sump. The skimmer should be more than enough to handle any bioload I throw at it.

Thanks for your input.
JP.

I bought the B12 to replace 3 smaller skimmers that I was using for a 300 gallon system, one from a previous smaller system and 2 were FB marketplace finds. Within a few hours the B12 already seemed broke in and making a nice foam and pulling a decent amount of gunk. It's still new though so I can't give a long term review but after a few days I can say I'm happy with it, it's plenty of skimmer, more than I'll ever need. This thing is pretty big, I have it in a 150 gallon sump and it was a snug fit with everything else that's in there.
