Hello, purchased a new Bubble Magus Elite 9 to replace my Curve 7. Assembly is straightforward, but I'm having difficulty aligning/connecting the air venturi pipe to the front of the pump through the skimmer housing. It seems to be off enough to make it difficult to slide together. Anyone else had this problem with this skimmer?

If this is a new skimmer, that’s a bit embarrassing for them….

The skimmer SHOULD have been test assembled at the factory…

In this case, I would recommend loosening the thumb screws that anchor the pump down in the skimmer, allowing the pump inlet to have a bit of wiggle; thus aligning the pump inlet with the venturi better!

— you may or may not be able to easily get the screws tightened back down with the pump aligned correctly… that’ll be a bit of trial and error!
