I purchased a Bubble Magus Curve 9 for my 220 gallon tank. Its rated for 400 gallons, just wondering if its a good skimmer. Ive heard mixed reviews on it.

I had a similar Bubble Magus skimmer and was quite pleased with it. I upgraded to a larger skimmer or I would still be using it. The friend I sold it to is still using it with good results 7 years later.

Bump. Hows the skimmer? Researching these now? Any other BM Skimmer owners?
I have the curve 7 elite. Upgraded from a reef octopus. It’s really good. It’s a little more fragile than a reef octopus, but it’s design is better overall and is more functional.

I have the curve 7 and it does a fantastic job.
The curve 9 is rated for 400 gallons, and its huge. But its an amazing skimmer, I doubt youd get better production out of any other skimmer.

Been using the maxspect jump 400 for the last 18 months. Customer service was a pain but it's a solid skimmer. Pulling the cup off is a pain sometimes though.

Tried several Bubble magus DID NOT LIKE them. If U turn the valve which is flimsy u cannot Totally get the water level totally up, either way water level eventually drops. reef octo Classic Much better IMO sturdier gate valve and better pump Just my 2 cents.
