Bubble Magus Vs Reef Octopus Skimmer

Im about to buy a skimmer. i have this two options. i have a $250 budget

it is going to be for a 80gal tank.

option 1. Bubble Magus Curve 5

this is going to be my frst skimmer ever. so i want to go sure about this.!

Honestly they are about the same performance wise. Pros of the BM is smaller footprint and cone shape. Pro's of the octo is better build quality and easier accessibility to the pump. Air pull and water through is going to be about the same.

I just bought a bubble magus c6 and love it this thing pulls stuff out like crazy and is really quiet

You might consider going with a Sea Side Aquatics ES5, its a BM Curve 5 but built with a better Sicce pump, and within your budget.

Sca 302 - best skimmer for the $ and you will have an extra $100 to spend else where, I've used the RO and have gotten more production out of the sca. It has a little bigger foot print though so not sure if it will work for you. It's about 9 1/2 inch.

If I had to pick between the two listed only it would be the BM 5
