Thank you for bumping up this thread or I may have never been able to see it. Beautiful Nems. I am fortunate enough to have some of the ones pictured but I only have a cell camera and the photos do not do justice to them. I also have LEDS and I think everyone can agree that it is very difficult to take pictures with LEDS.

Hello All! ..So enjoying this thread! :tongue: Here is a little baby I rescued from LFS for free because they were actually gonna throw it in the TRASH, since it looked sick! Anybody know what I came home with? I have a GBTA and just got a rose/rainbow last week..but I never see these around and wonder if it's not a bleached rose? It eats great, and has doubled in size over 3 weeks...but the clear/flourescent pink color remains strong.

agreed. as long as it's opening and feeding, should recover in time. feed it small chunks of meaty for every other day. good luck.

My newest..rainbow rose..has a green base and the detail pattern is awesome! None of my other nems have that veining, LOVE it! :) Thankx for the ID help on the baby rose..it eats some scallops and shrimp 3x a week and is doing great! :)

I want to get a few nice BTA's for my RSM130 as well as some maxi mini's, I have a question about them though

Does ANYONE know how to keep the tentacles as "bubble tips"? I ask because sometimes I see them without the bubbles and instead they just have straight tentacles like other anemones and that kinda takes away from the beauty of a bubble tip when it has no bubbles LOL

Honestly if fed and the right conditions I would say they are one step behind aptasia. I mean I am exaggerating a little but not by much.. hehehe

I have had them spawn regularly too. In the evening just after my pumps went to low... mine were all males, I wanted to find a female for them bad just to see if I could raise them.

How do you tell male anemones from female anemones??

saw my wife just posted this picture on fb.. you can see 2 of the 3 BTA's. One is a REAL small sunburst that obviously you cant see
(i want one more BTA i think, LOL)
