I have a dilema. I have a maron & yellow stipped clown fish. I used to have a green tip & rose tip. I watched my clown shread & eat the green bubble tip into pieces. I tried to save it, but no matter what i didn the clown fish went right back to. Now as of last week i watch my clown fish shread all the tenticles off the rose bubble tip. What caused the clown fish to this. I thought they were piecefull. I plan on getting rid of this clown fish this weekend, but he is about 6 years old. Is there something that causes him to be aggresive, I can put my hand in my tank & he will actually repeatedly bite my finger. I also just lost all 5 of my Grandas, which i am blamming on him due to the size of the bite in the 1st one that come up missing. It was one solid bite, and i only have 3 other fish which are not near as big and dont think they could of been capable of doing that.

Here is my sexy BTA I just bought from Rocky Mountain Frags here on R2R. It is next to another orange and green BTA I have had for about 18 months. It is amazing how much brighter the new sexy BTA is under the same 400 watt 20k lighting.

Here's a cool morph of mine. I call it acid rain because it doesn't have the purple tip but does have light green speckles (a morph) instead of white speckles.

Yes the damsel is the entire size of your palm to where your fingers meet, and then some.
It is crazy because he will rub himself into the anemone's for a little bit then get out, almost like a clown fish.

His tank had one growing on a piece of live rock the size of your thumb. Then it grew, and as time went on it split. Then split some more, and on from there.

He doesn't do many water changes ( 1 every couple months) and no dosing. Just top offs and filter changes with skimmer. The 8 bulb T5 and chiller may help too. It's a 75 gallon tank.

^^^

Thanks for sharing. How long has the tank been set up?
