I've got two BTAs and a carpet, S.Haddoni.... The only effect it's had is that my black ocellaris abandoned her BTA... upon seeing the carpet it was love at first sight.

Question: can you keep BTAs with a carpet? will they steer clear of each other?

Liquid360 I thought you just got that haddoni... Kind of early to tell.. Also they need sand or haddonis wont be happy, they are a sand anemone. Your looks like its on the glass.

In most cases it is not good to mix anemones,, They don't sting each other they use (allelopathy) toxic warfare mostly... Some seem ok and others don't. usually you can tell because one will become restless or head to other side of the tank, sometimes the stomach will start to turn inside out... Sometimes it wont show up right away either it can happen over a month to a year.

Magnificas really seem to not tolerate carpet anemones but I am not sure on bta's..

Sometimes it will depend on the size of the tank, if you run polyfilter or carbon... But it really is hard to tell how it will react. Best not to mix anemones to be on the safe side.

I've kept nems all my life. True this specimen is new but it's not my first by any means. I've NEVER had an issue. Here's the tank I grew up with including a carpet over 3ft in diameter... I'm always the first to admit if I don't know something but this is something I've got lots of experience with.

Can't wait till tomorrow just ordered my lemon drop!!!!!
From rare reef
i know photos can be deceiving but that really doesn't look like a "lemon drop" which are typically vibrantly yellow, base and tentacles. it's looks awesome nonetheless with the soft green base and pink body so still a sweet grab. how much was that one?

$200. I've seen the lemon drop you speak of haven't been able to find that particular one. This is the closest I've been able to get my hands on. Hopefully it'll be really nice.
