I'm new to reef2reef so I'll start this with a bang. This is my rainbow RBTA and a large GBTA being hosted by my pair of occelaris clownfish in a UPGRADED 14 gallon biocube for 2 years straight!!!

I do not have any luck with Bubble tip anemones =( I love them too! Everything else in my tank thrives ... what am I doing wrong?
Too much light, too little light, or not enought variation in light intensity throughout the day. No trace elements in the water. I have a T5 and an LED (white light and moon light.) the T5 stays on for 7 hours. The LED (white light) stays on for 4 hours. Moon lights on in the evening for 6 hours. ~ Shahin Ruyani

You might be making a common mistake. If it starts bleaching give it less light not more. More light will fry the zooanthellae. And LED's can fry the zooanthellae. Use LED's for a few hours in the day. ~ Shahin Ruyani

Thank you for your reply,
I will check the lighting. The Rose bubble that we have was beautiful for about 2 weeks then looked like it melted onto the rock THEN retreated to the bottom of the rock towards the back of the tank which makes it very difficult to feed. It is starting to open up and not looking horrible but I can tell it is NOT happy. It is less than half the size it was and only part of the tentacles are out. We have having to do some really strange moves to feed it LOL. We have T5's and LEDs. Actively trying to find good lighting for our 125g tank without breaking the bank. We currently have 3 bar type lights on the tank now so it really is not feasible when trying to feed as we have to move then each and every time =(
