I just got my first bubble tip anemone and I have one concern. I know that they like to move themselves to a place they are happy but will they move themselves in a bad spot? Mine moved its self into a spot of low flow and very low lighting. Would this pose a problem eventually or will he relocate if he isnt getting enough light

I just got my first a couple months ago. I placed it into the general area that I wanted it. The first day it crawled into the nearest cave. It opened up inside the cave as the cave is open from the top. After a couple weeks it kept its foot anchored in the cave but is fully extended out of it.

It will find its happy spot. Downside is it may not be where you want it.

I would have preferred it popped out of the front of the cave but unfortunately it chose the backside

I'd expect him to move again in a few days or week. Mine did the same thing, decided where I put him wasn't ideal, took a walkabout and hid in a cave for a few days, then took another walkabout to find a place he liked with higher light.
