Wow, I'm glad I read this post. I never would have guessed that acrylic expanded enough to be a serious problem. I had seen under the reviews for for the Fiji Cube drop ins a lot of complaints about how they were too small, and now I know why. Thanks for the info @Troylee

Quick update.

Firstly, thank you for everyone who helped with feedback, really appreciate the support.

Back to two holding tanks as the 50g tub I got wasn't giving me assurances after a water test that it could stay together.

Before the move this morning

After move, sand still left to move to buckets and sift out the snails in the sandbed

Two holding tanks, and trying to see if the cheato can grow with a bubbler and light plus a few hundred 2day old brine shrimp.
