Bubbling during cycling?

Am cycling a QT...just wondering if using an air stone will help or hinder the process...especially, re: aerobic or anaerobic bacteria...Thanks...:confused:

Is there flow in there? Airstones can cause a lot of saltcreep and spritzing. If you have low O2 in there, it will help. If it's fine, it won't make a difference. It won't hurt, though.

Exactly right. My whole reef is only ran by an airstone day one through day 10 yrs. Saltcreep is your concern. Not a concern for me due to specialized lid fit
