I have buffer solution in a dosing container. It was originally clear, but now is becoming brown tinged over about a week. Container was brand new, rinsed with ro/di, new tubing, etc. Stored in the sump. I don’t see any precipitation. The main storage container in my closet is still clear.

has anyone had this happen? Is it ok to use still? My understanding is buffer solution is sodium bicarbonate. I can’t think why it would turn brown…maybe it’s the light exposure or temp?
