So we got to show the good and the bad in this hobby. Well here is my gut wrench picture of 80% of my SPS corals that died. All frags and some small colonies, but still s punch in the gut.

Then the good news!
Corals that survived the battle.

I could never keep a Duncan alive for the life of me. Started as 1 head and probably have around 8-10 compact

I posted in another thread on how I thought my tds meter might be wrong as it shows my incoming water at 5-0. I took some pictures this morning of TDS when I first turn on the RODI line, 1 minute after running and output. Also filter block and resin that was replaced back in July-August when my ICP test came back stating my RODI had high TIN. Added incoming pressure as well. I know I could use a booster pump, but it still makes water pretty fast. These filters have gone through 400 + gallons of water and RODI unit is a BRS 4 stage Plus Water Saver yard at 150GPD.

It will be a sad day when we move from this house.

Water change/ Sand remove.
Been doing 20g water changes for the last 3 weeks, and removing sand from tank at the same time. Slow process but seems to be doing good so far.

Been working on the right side of tank for sand removal.

I have some good news and some bad news.

Bad news
I am breaking down this tank in Jan. I'll be keeping the equipment minus lights, tank, stand, and canopy. :-(

Good news
We bought our first home and will be moving in mid February. As to why I'm breaking the tank down.

But.....

We will be buying a new WB Reef LX 270!

Keep an eye out for the new build thread coming soon!
