I just come across your Build so many pictures and post but it was worth the views. Very nice setup.
Thanks for taking the time to go through it. Yes, lots of pics as I feel that showing my mishaps is something that every reefer needs to see and learn from as I did.

Last week I was able to get 2 MP40 for the 90g. I moved my WAV pumps to the back and set the MP40's on the sides. Still playing with setting and positioning of the pumps, but so far all looks good.

Sweet build! I found your thread looking up Bashsea sumps. I plan on purchasing the same one you have. I didn’t know Nemos Reefs could get these in, ill have to ask about them.

Hopefully everything with the tanks are going well! Bet those frags have grown quite a bit!
It comes with a heavy heart that I lost all my sticks around May-July of this year, and we think it was due to moving our rock work around which caused a detritus bomb.

The wife wants me to tear the tank down and start all over again, but I would like to see if I can save what life is in the tank as of right now. Just recently put some sticks back in the tank couple of weeks ago and I am getting some mixed results.

Man, so sorry to hear that. This is every reefers worst nightmare. Scary to think moving rock around would cause something like that to happen. SPS are so fickle. Well I don't have a lot of grown out corals but I have some and when you're ready I would be happy to give you a few free frags to start back up with if you wanted. Hope you stay with the hobby and I look forward to seeing your tank thriving again!

Sorry to hear that Jose.
Consider going bare bottom.
It will take some time to get the bottom covered in corals but thats half the fun.
Check out my build thread for some ideas and dont give up.

That is the route I will be taking once I tear the tank down, But I don't want to give up the fight. We are planning on moving next year as we want to buy a new house, and don't want to tear it down now, and have to tear it down again.

This past weekend I decided to start removing the sand from the 90. Did a water change and moved some sand into the sump, and removed about 2-3 cups from the tank.

I figure I have about 50 more water changes to go before its all gone. We got this!

Did another 20g water change today and also removed more sand. Slow process, but seems to be going real well.
