I work nights. I wake up between 9am-12pm to bright tank t5 lights. Theyre on for 6hrs. Than when i get home at midnight its dim royal blue led. Lol. On a dimmer so i can watch coral glow. Lol.

Same supplier. They were quick to fix usps damage.

It was hard to dig through the 5gal buckey full of dead coral skeletons. Some bigger than my hand.

The tank in my very 1st post was meant to replace a glass tank that blew seams twice... i never set it up.
2 or 3 yrs went by and i asked a local maker to make me this.
Yes the coral skeletons are from my previous tanks. Saving all the coral skeleton for cal reactor media.

I was looking for some shells. Lol. Ill have to get some pics. Just the formations the corals make when they grow amazes me.

So your tanked crashed and that’s all your dead coral... that’s brutal! Glad your back holy cow.

Yup me too! I built a entire reef tank that will never see coral out of dead coral skeletons. Made it a mantis tank. Call it the dead reef lol.

No. No tank crash. Just blown seams. Like having a 300gal swimming.pool in your living room/entry way and it has a big tear in the side and spilling out on to your carpet. Lol. Warm sw of all things.

Ive been reefing since 2007-2008. Just coral skeletons from corals that have died or ive grown and than died ect.
Eventually the alk. Cal. Demands get pretty high. Lol. I had a hard time keeping alk stable.
