So, I just purchased an Innovative Marine 100 ext with white stand. I’m not going to be setting up till after the holidays and after I get some painting done. I presently have a 75 int tank with 29 gallon diy sump. I’ve taken advantage of the Black Friday deals and I’ve gotten some bargains.
so, for the build I have,
Tank
Stand
3 radion xr15 gen5 with two Xho reefbrites.
Aquamaxx q2 cone s
Aqua ultraviolet 25 watt uv sterilizer
I’ve been looking at the trigger 34 sump. Not too sure about it though. I did purchase a 40 gallon Aqueon intending to do diy, but it is so big. I want a little space under the stand.
All in all, I pretty much have an idea about most, but I was hoping for opinions. I’m not a newbie, but I do not know everything.
I would like to know the best way to transfer. It will only be 25-30 gallons more. Last time I cycled the new tank with new sand and transferred everything over minus the sand. I really hate to have two tanks in my living room for a few weeks. Last time they were in different spots. This time I will be replacing the one. Any thoughts would help. Plus,
Can I use the 29 gallon sump?
If not, can I have some reviews on the trigger 34 sump? Pros and cons as well.
Can I see some pictures also of plumbing including uv?
Thank you so much ahead of time. I will also be posting updates to this thread as I go along.

As I just did- siphon water from tank, not bottom without stirring and run filter socks to entrap suspended matter from sand and add liquid bacteria such as MicroBacter XLM which I used and am at week 2 and crystal clear and zero diatoms

Large trash bins with everything in them, setup new tank with new sand, and then do a large water change with the old water into the new tank to lower the shock to the bio. I'd use some bottled bacteria to smooth things out. Only down side are the cost of new 55g trash bins.
