So I work in a glass factory, can get any thickness I want, want to a 40 gallon rimless. Would 6mm glass be suffice to not euro brace? Or should I just do it anyways (glass is free)

I mean you should do it anyway, having access to glass and cutting easily :)

I see a lot of rimless 40B designs at around 12mm of glass. 6mm is ... not going to be great IMO.

You think 14? I can regularly get up to 12mm (1/2") but we actually don't run 14mm we run 10,12,19, and 21mm, 2.3mm being our smallest.

12mm is fine. Consider a Waterbox 130.4 with a 96G display tank uses 12mm glass.

12mm has been cut and brought home. Problem with 12 mm cutting euro braces out of 12mm is gonna be a pain.
