Building my stand, question about adjustable feet

So I gave up searching and decided I'm just going to build my small stand.

It's only 18"x18" and probably 36" tall.

My question is about adjustable feet,. I found these online and if I'm seeing it right, each foot is rated up to 150kg(330lbs). This to me seems like overkill but I'd rather go way over than under.

Anyone ever use these or have any input on them?

I like your stand, and I was looking at the t-nuts but wanted to go bigger cuz it'll be on the carpet.

Thanks for sharing your build, I'd love to build a stand like that but I don't have a pocket jig....but I may have a friend who does, now I'm going to have to make some phone calls

Our house seems to fluctuate with the seasons. I used leveling casters on a 7ft. 210 gallon and they worked out perfect. A quick search on Amazon should bring up a cheap four pack. Might be a little over kill for an 18"x18" Good luck.

Now my wife's concerned it won't be very stable. We have two big dogs and young kids.

It would be best to use an L bracket of some kind to attach it to the wall then.

I think the feet would be fine on the carpet - once the weight mashes it down and you get everything level it'll stay that way.
Pocket screws are great - I've also used biscuits in a previous similar style build. The Kreg jig kits for pocket screws really aren't too horribly expensive - $80 on Amazon right now.

Pocket screws are great - I've also used biscuits in a previous similar style build. The Kreg jig kits for pocket screws really aren't too horribly expensive - $80 on Amazon right now.

I wish I had more cabinet building experience and tools for that kind of work. I was about to buy a Kreg jig kit, I've wanted one for a while, but my impatience got the best of me and I ended up starting an oversized frame stand. I'm just going to skin with birch plywood and paint it black. I have a lot of scraps from pallet teardowns and a basement I finished recently.

It's a very slow process for me lol, with a 3 month old puppy, and a 4 and 5 year old slowing me down even more.

Making the base foot print something like 16x16” I put a larger base on my 20x20” to make up for the chasers making the foot Print narrower and it is not as tall as your tank. How tall is your tank overall?

The tank is just under 16" tall. I ended up going 22 1/2" squared. Here's a picture of the top frame I made with the tank sitting on it.

Here is a picture of the reference we ended I ended up using.

It already feels like it's going to take forever to finish, so I'm hoping I can keep it clean and do it right.
I'll be wrapping it in birch faced plywood and painting it black.

Finally made some progress today! Everyone I work with is sick so I've been covering the whole plant myself, little extra OT.

So it's a little different than the one in the picture, but I'm happy with how sturdy it is and how it's looking. Hopefully will start painting this weekend.

Finished assembly minus the door(mostly because I haven't decided what to do yet)
But here it is before final sanding and painting.

This thing is heavy, if I were to do it again I definitely wouldn't use the 3x4's I reclaimed from pallets. The good thing about that is I know this thing is heavy duty.
