Building refugium

im planning on building a refugium soon. What do you guys have inside yours, what lights, etc. I need some ideas of what to add to mine. Going to be adding mine into my sump.

Chaeto and a good light that hits the blue and red spectrum is all you really need in my opinion. Fuges dont have to be that complicated.

I have a bare refugium with chaeto and a kessil h380 and I pull chaeto weekly to every other week (depended on how lazy I'm feeling lol )

How fast does the chaeto grow?

I like using flame algae (aka dragon's breath) in my refugium. Grows more consistently than cheto, doesn't trap debris and it looks amazing!!!

I use kessil a360w because I wanted uninstructed views from the top. Really almost any light will work.

Exactly how I did it! Always pods scurrying around the waterline so I assume the cheato is full of them!
