I found everything i can dose as recommended but idk if it’s beneficial to start dosing since I haven’t dosed anything at all yet I think i eventually wana go the AFR route might make a post later about it see what others think or if its even worth chasing

Yeah I’ve always chased PO4 , p03 so far on this setup p04 is rock solid around 0.03 it’s never been higher the 0.24 and that was right after my cycle completed need to pesky nitrates new skimmer is up and running but being a pain in my butt

Really good ICP results. I don’t think your strontium level is anything to worry about. nitrate and phosphate are at a good balance. With fish in there now, that number could change a bit. But, Your water changes are keeping most things in check. Are you adding in corals soon? They would probably help suck up some of that strontium and nitrate. Then, you may want to look into adding alkalinity and magnesium. I know IO salt is quite high for alk, and your number after WC is still on the lower side. What’s is it before water changes?

Some updates

got the skimmer 100% installed and kind of dialed in

-had to get octo aquatics to make me a adjustable skimmer stand still not running in recommend water height but it’s working -air intake is ran to outside air and is keeping my pH slightly elevated and stable
-modified the sump lid to accept the skimmer
-using the collection cup drain into a glass gallon collection jar with a float switch hooked up to a avast breakout box I plan on running my trident waste to this in the future also

Also got some corals in the tank and more coming nothing crazy but some zoa starters

Got cheato from algea barn and got the refugium running tonight Neptune gro is running 12 hour cycle while the display lights are dark nutrients are still decent nitrate has been slowly creeping up no3- 14.4
pO4-0.08
I’m hoping with the refugium running I can feed fish a little more and cut back on the gfo/phosguard usage

Also finally got DIY kit to service my trident and get that running soon so I can start monitoring alk/cal/mag

Ahh i get it now lol I was like "whatever that is im not monitoring it!"
Yeah my ato is 100% gravity fed with a float valve in the return chamber it holds roughly 9gallons so in that chart I lost 4 inches in about 48 hours so I topped off just approximately 1.68 gallons

Probably not really useful information but I like that I can remotely see the top off has water available on the dashboard and when it gets to about 2.25” I get a email alert to fill it back up incase i forgot

I am thinking about automating refilling the ATO reservoir from my Rodi reservoir on the mixing station in the future may come in handy if I go on vacation

Nice! I have a tunze and it works great but my sensor tends to get dirty and sometimes I have to actually clean the sensor to get water flowing again. My ato resevoir is my old 55g tank. I can go away for a few days without refilling :grinning-face-with-sweat:

The tunze is nice I’ve used it in the past but I did have it get stuck on once so I gave up on optical sensors for this task float valve has been good to be except forgetting to close the shutoff while doing water changes from the sump

All trial and error buddy. If mine continues having issues i might have to try this. Right now it's only an issue if I shut off my skimmer. Then the water turbulence acts similar to a skimmer and gums up my optical sensor

Got alk/cal/mag adjusted over 5days slowly dripping 800ml per day sodium bicarbonate solution raising alk .5 dkh a day and only had to dose a little calcium/mag already seeing some colors improvement in my frag tank Going to monitor and record the consumption now I think I am going to use AFR for my dosing
