Holy cow! I got ripped off, this places prices are insanely

lol I’m in the construction industry so this vendors came from work 90% of the fittings are spears too so your not risking quality

It did and I’m ticked. I paid an exorbitant amount for shipping and after 3 days they still haven’t picked my order. I’m about to ask for my money back. Aquacave had my order shipped within 2~ hours.

Do you have a better source for schedule 80 fittings? I love that BRS has an app to purchase with which made it really easy.

Holiday time amigo, just about any vendor your place a order with this time of year is either ridiculously backed up or they are out of office untill jan2nd not to mention shipping delays

But regardless BRS has amazing customer service I would call them up and get your order cancelled should not be a issue if it was not picked yet

I emailed them, if they cancel it great if not it’s ok. I’ve watched probably hundreds of hours of free content from them. I’m a little less enthusiastic with Ryan not at the helm but it’s whatever.

I’ve met Ryan twice at reefapalooza events really nice generous guy each time gave me a few Giftcard/coupon cards and took time to answer questions and look at photos and give advice I was a little bothered by him kind of selling out too but then again from a business standpoint and with how the industry is changing during and since Covid I can’t blame him for it smart move probably his new project serious reefs looks interesting just glad he’s not MIA

I’m definitely a gear junkie and really enjoy having all my equipment on display rather then shoved under a stand had some family and friends over for the holidays and never realized until now what I thought was super cool was super intimidating to others lol

New Hanna nitrate finally came

a little higher then i like but overall not terrible diatoms still running in the display but seem to be disappearing in the sump even the filter socks are starting to be less orangey brown

ran out of MB7 This week going to switch over to microbacter clean see if it helps with the uglies added a octo aquatics casket media basket to the refugium section of the sump with some bio media from my old frag system figured it could help since it’s established for over 2years and be a good home for pods need to order some cheato still….i really wanted to get a treasure chest from Tampa bay saltwater but im so nervous about unwanted hitchhikers and pests

any way good things coming I ordered a custom 10 gallon ATO container and I have a plan to Frankenstein/overhaul my Neptune ATK eliminating the PMUP (which I’ve found troublesome) but using the sensors and float valve to manage the water level in the return section with a new LLS and a Neptune solenoid as a gravity fed ato and with a dedicated line to top off and fill my ato reservoir from my Rodi holding tank in my mixing station with the flip of a switch

Gotta love when that BRS shipment arrives!
TDS METER started reading 1tds on the final so time to swap everything out nitrate is climbing in @15.7ppm phosphate is staying at a steady @13ish gota get that skimmer ASAP but I feel confident this Wednesdays water change and new GFO will bring the numbers down

Progress update:
-2 MP40s are installed
-new 10gal ATO is installed with NEPTUNE LLS
-NEPTUNE pm2 and salinity probe installed
-NEPTUNE GRO installed just need some cheato


New lid for the display should be here by the end of the week and I’m looking forward to moving over fish FINALLY

Fish are in the reef and everyone survived the transfer Clyde my larger clown is feeling right at home exploring everything his girlfriend Bonnie is doing well but not as adventurous yellow watchman goby has already found a hole in the rocks and the 6line wrasse did not take well to the transfer I thought he was a goner layed at the bottom for over a hour breathing heavy I walked away to have dinner by the time I came back he disappeared but eventually found him swimming in the rock structure
