At the moment I have an ATI 6 bulb and it's completely capable of growing sps. I'm going the lps route though and my question is regarding bulbs. I'm using 4 b+ 1 c+ and 1 p+. I was thinking about ditching the c+ for an actinic since lps are a bit deeper water. Any opinions on that?

I don’t think color will make a difference.

Personally I’d keep the c+ tonkeep the broader spectrum and pull a blue for the the actinic.

You make it need as much par for lps tank and the actinic is half or less than any of the rest and at the same time extends to the Lowest NMs. Much like the c+ extends to the correct dose of the higher Nm.

I prefer a slightly bluer look and the coral+ eats that up pretty good. I guess I was thinking the coral+ spectrum didn't really reach most lps in the wild. That's my guess though lol.
