what are the bulkheads for and which side?
drains in an overflow, never glue inside. Slip allows you to pull and drain the overflow and get stuff out easy.

In general I prefer slip and glue. Never leaks, unlike threads that seem to leak quite often during installs.....
Down side is you can't remove it. Or cut and then put a threaded union it?

But I don't plan to undo.... and if I do, i feel its a good time to use a new bulkhead and gasket anyway!

Its for a Overflow drain. Im planning out the Breeder and grow out tank system. Planning on 10 gallon Grow out tanks and 29 divided breeders. so i could have 4 pairs of breeders and im dont know how many grow out tanks as of yet.... But prolly 4 of them to start.

Threaded is perfectly fine and will not leak as long as you have quality bulkheads and install the, correctly.Love my Spears bulks and prefer ThrdXThrd in case I want to completely disassemble .
