I don't want this post to come off as bashing BRS or anything so I'm going to say now that I am not and it is not my intention. They have great customer service and inventory and I think most of us have learned a thing or two from their videos. Nice job Ryan and others. But... hehe... I would suggest bleaching their Reef Saver Rock. I ordered about 20 pounds worth. I split the rocks into two buckets with 0(zero) RODI water. I waited about 3 days or so then tested for phosphates with my Hanna Phosphorus ULR and Red Sea Pro Phosphate kit. I wish I would have taken photos for you all, but I have a brain and can remember my results. I took them 30 minutes ago. Both buckets on the Red Sea showed .08 - .12 range. The Hanna showed 25ppb or .077. So we are in the ball park of some unwanted Phosphates, IMO. I don't think throwing a few small pieces into a big established tank isn't going to cause much concern, but maybe it will. Who knows. Just thought I would share that and see if anyone else has anything they can add. Happy Reefing all!

Edit: I did a TDS read on the rock water and it was 36ppm.

When I’ve called they’ve said twice that you should be able to just rinse it off and toss it in. I am aware of curing and did it with all my Fiji, Tonga, and Pukani. I’ve also read elsewhere on threads that people will also just rinse and toss in the DT or sump. Thanks

I used Marco rocks with a rinse and straight into a new tank. Still undetectable phosphates 4 months in.
