Hi all,
I recently got a Lifegard aquatics 1/2 inch bulkhead, The recommended hole size is 1.25 inches (31.75 mm), The closest I could get is a 35 mm drill bit, is that OK?

Drill bit on top of bulkhead rubber gasket for reference.

Are you sure it is not a 3/4 inch bulkhead? I just drilled some holes for a 1/2 lifegaurd bulkheads and that was a 1 1/8 - 29mm. My 3/4" bulkheads used a 35mm drill.
the little baggie it came in said 1 1/8th hole but their website recommends 1 1/4 so I went by that

Drill a 1 1/8 hole in a sheet of plastic or cardboard. Double check the fit and you will know. Maybe they changed vendors and the website is outdated.
