Decided to make a thread here. I have one on my local forum from the start. Ive been in the saltwater hobby since 2003-04 ish

My current setup is 5 years old but only 1 year since I changed the rock structure and switched to SPS / LPS mostly.

Here is when I first reconfigured in January 2019

Wow! A lot to like! Remember that you can add the URL of your build thread to your “account details” to get a Build Thread Contributor banner.

Official Welcome to R2R.

Beautiful tank and corals, the orange digitata is gorgeous.

Are you using a filter for those images?

What lighting type on the display?

Decided to go ahead and post a build and grow out thread. Tank has been remodeled in 2019. I have been keeping tanks for years. I started in salt water around 2004-2005 and have had a tank ever since. I moved around a lot and never really got my tank to where I wanted it. I am now more stable and hope to resolve this. We have had our current tank since 2015 and transitioning to more SPS dominant system. Here are some of my older tanks moving to the current one.

Tank from 2004 / PC Bulbs / Lost most items after a vacation someone was watching my tank

Tank from 2007 after a move / I still have the Favia, Polyps, and Red Serpent Starfish / Retro 4 x T5HO

Tank from 2009 / Changed lighting to 8 x T5HO / moved some items

Bubble Magus Curve 5 protein skimmer
Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor 150
JBJ chiller

Started building a new sump, frag, and chiller stand. I am removing the 10 gal tub frag tank and setting up a new 24Lx24Wx12H 30 gal frag tank. I will be resealing the tank before setup so it will be while before I can finish. Just thought I would share this update.

Progress, started cleaning up the seams on the tank and got the top of the stand mostly done. Now just to paint and get the plywood mounted.

Got the stand mostly done. I need to reseal the tank and get everything moved into place

I finished up on the tank and the stand.

I moved the new stand into place but my grandpa passed last week so I really haven't done much. Waiting on a few hoses to arrive and need to finish up pluming and making a light stand.

Updated tank shot. I had my ATO stick open which dumped about 5-10 gal of RODI/Kalk into the tank a few weeks ago. I think I have got everything stable again. I had some STN/RTN and most corals seem to be recovering. Some burnt tips while others took a week or more to show signs. Everything appears to be stabilized now.

Finally put the new elbows on the chiller and moved it to its new home. Need to pickup a few more fittings and hopefully have the new tank in place this weekend.
