I've been there. 0 nitrates and phosphates is the cause. Stop running GFO. Dose some nitrates and phosphates. If you are scared of an algae out break, keep them low. They don't need to be high. Now the bad news. You may have corals die 6, 9 months later because of this. I didn't keep up with swapping out the T5 bulbs. Corals looked bad and stopped growing. I thought something got in the water. Did massive water changes. Then one day I found in my notes it was over 2 years since I changed bulbs. I changed all the bulbs at once. A couple of weeks later all my SPS had burnt tips. Lost almost all SPS. Lesson learned.
