@rvitko -- is there any way to purchase a 6105 / 6095 with the stronger magnet (that can support 3/4" glass) instead of the included magnet?

Seems like such a waste to buy the pump with included 1/2" magnet and then purchase the stronger magnet in addition and end up having no use for the 1/2" magnet

Thanks!

Unfortunately, no, on the 6105 you only replace the outside magnet of the set, 6205.501 is a stronger outside half, for 6095 you need set 6025.500 for 3/4". As much as this would be a nice option, it creates a lot of stocking and management headaches for multiple models, for example we have the Stream 3+ for just this reason and only a handful of dealers has brought them in so we base the magnets on what tends to be the most common glass for that size pump.

My new tank has 3/4” thick glass and I want to add my Tunze 6095 to it. Is the 6025.501 ok to use? I can’t find 6025.500 anywhere but BRS has the 6025.501

You can get the 6025.500 from Tunze. I bought a couple from them a couple weeks ago. I was recommend to purchase the 500 when I did mine.

Yes, you want the 6025.500, the 6025.501 is only for the weakest magnets for 3/8" 6025.512 and brings them up to 1/2".

The Tunze.com link would be an order directly with us. However, we just sold teh last 2 we have in stock over the weekend, I expect more right around the end of Dec/ beginning of January.

I think so from your screen name, it shipped yesterday, you should have the invoice with tracking.

Hi Roger,

Can I also use the 6205.500 along with my Turbelle Stream 6125 to make it accept 3/4" glass thickness?

All you need for this is 6205.501, this is half a 6205.500, outside only, you keep the inside half that came with the pump, swap the outside half and it is good to 3/4". 6205.500 is good to 1"

Hi Roger, I purchased 2 sets of 6025.500 from you last year. One I plan to use on a 6095, but I am thinking about also purchasing the new 6105 eco pump. Can I use my extra set for the 6105 eco, or should I just purchase a 6205.501?
Thanks!

These use a larger magnet so the 6025.500 won't work, for 3/4" glass 6205.501 will be the right part.
