Hey yall I have researched and decided to buy a 29 gallon biocube. I'm just getting into saltwater aquariums. I have become somewhat bored with fresh water. I have found an awesome deal on a used biocube. Is it a bad idea to buy a used tank. Also there is coralline alage on some of it. If I do purchase it should I clean it all off or would that help me cycle a little quicker?

Thanks!

You should clean it with vinegar and water. That little bit of coralline algae won't help a bit. Buying a used tank is a gamble because you don't know what all its been through. If everything seems on the up and up then go for it. Welcome to the salty side of aquaria!
