Hi all!

Just purchased a Jebao doser and it needs wifi to connect to the app. I use as a hotspot an iPhone 14 and the band it shares internet is at 5Ghz. The doser needs a band of 2.4Ghz in order to connect.

I have tried the maximize compatibility mode on the hotspot option but it does not works.

Does anyone have a “hack” to bypass this or I am screwed and need to buy a router just for the doser?

I believe it requires a 2.4 ghz channel. You can calibrate and program it locally on the doser itself too.

I have a similar product which requires 2.4ghz. I bought a cheap WiFi 2.4 extender and it works fine.
Just plugged and play
