Hi all

My mixing station pump has packed up. I have a ParkerBrand AC submersible aquarium pump which is a variable speed AC pump with controller. The controller has packed up and throws an error code but when I plug it into another identical controller, it works fine.

The pump label says 240v and not 12v or 24v so this made me think, can I bypass the controller? The connector has 3 pins, live, ground and I assume a signal wire. Do you think a supply is required to this signal wire for the pump to operate? Could I identify the pumps + and - with my meter and wire directly to a plug?

Thanks!

Correction, the pump lead has a 4 pin connector. Brown live, blue ground, green earth and black signal. Any thoughts?
