I got pricing for some King Plastic Durastyle cabinet doors and…… :flushed-face::flushed-face::flushed-face::flushed-face: I legit shrieked when I saw the numbers.

So, back to the drawing board, what are some good alternatives that are durable, water resistant but don’t brake the bank too badly.

I’ve looked at thermofoil cabinet doors and that wasn’t much cheaper.

My cabinet has glass doors mounted on an aluminium frame. Very durable!

If you're handy you can get a piece of PVC board and cut it to your dimensions. Then do a plastic paint to color it to your liking. It works just like wood but is obviously resistant to water damage.

I got mine from Menards and cut it up to build a bioactive ball python enclosure and it holds up great. I imagine the occasional drop of tank water wouldn't do a thing.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
