Hello all have questions about my calcium levels hovers around 400 to 410 been dosing all for reef they say to monitor alkalinity levels mine stays around 8.4 even after increasing amount of liquid it's 240 gallon tank I'm dosing 90 ml of all for reef and a extra 230 ml of reef factory calcium every 3 days or so. Should I stick with this product or go with a three part method? Oh my stocking level of coral is 13 monti frags from ww coral and 5 torch corals about 3 heads each 1.5 inch tall magnesium stays 1230.

In my opinion 400-410 is good value to have. My target for calcium is 400-440…

Some kits are troublesome at measuring calcium, maybe try another kit or ICP test to confirm your reading.

AFR adds bit more calcium so I am puzzled you need to add more, when I used AFR my calcium was 460-470 range/ bit elevated from my target.

I agree with @Pod_01, it’s likely test error. I rarely test calcium because I find it unreliable and frankly intent worry about it too much. AFR provides more calcium than you need, I keep mine from getting too high with water changes.
