I bought this calcium to dose in my tank. The only thing is that this is 1 gallon jug. Does this mean that all this mix with rodi water will make 1 gallon ? Seems like a lot of mix to yield 1 gallon

No! Not the whole thing. I believe BRS calcium is hydrated, so 2 1/2 cups made up to one gallon using RO/DI water. I'll double check and get back to you in a minute.

EDIT TO ADD:

Verified......Here's BRS's mixing directions:

MIXING DIRECTIONS
Add 2½ dry measuring cups of calcium chloride to a gallon jug and mix with RO/DI or distilled water to create a full gallon of solution.
