Geo's are great. Built like tanks and made to last. Calcium reactors don't really have size limitations, the size of the reactor just really determines how often you have to add new media. I'd also recommend getting a secondary reactor to help raise the pH before the effluent enters your tank.
The Geo 612 paired with the Geo SMC410 (secondary reactor) will serve you well. If space is a concern, I've also run the Geo Nano with a SMC410 on a 90 gallon tank.
What do you run in the 2nd media reactor to help raise ph? I currently have a kalk stirrer from Avast Marine and am looking to add a GEO 612 soon.
Just more reactor media (Reborn) and Remag. pH will increase with more contact time with media as it dissolves it.
I have the same set up on my 187 and recommend it without reservation.Been running this main stage

For... about and year and a half and love the setup... :)
