You can still get it if you’re patient and act fast to in stock alerts. People are just stocking up right now. But there are other similar options. See this thread:

I just added Korallin-Zucht calcium reactor media (on top of the dwindling reborn in the chamber. It's melting and putting out alk & Ca as needed.

edit; Purchased from BRS.
WHat pH do you need to melt the media? I think I might start using this. I am trying to do my research now i am setting up my reactor this weekend.

That a good question, Iam assuming its probably on the lower PH to melt the media since its a bit more coarse media, also whats your ph in your tank?

There is a fuge with nothing in it i have a little chaeto. The chaeto light comes on an hour before tank lights go off. so I go from 8.0 to 8.1 in a 24 hour period.

WHat pH do you need to melt the media? I think I might start using this. I am trying to do my research now i am setting up my reactor this weekend.

My reactor chamber is target pH 6.8 and the Milwaukee controller keeps it 6.7 to 6.9.

I did reset the feedwater flow through the system along the way when I added the new media, but as close as I can tell from my tinkerings about, both reborn and KZ rock are similar (if not the same) chemically. Both are arragonite and so the pH needed for one is (or should be) the same as the other to start dissolution with CO2 additions at target pH 6.8 for my set up.

the reborn media they are shipping now is not the same larger size like the previous batches before they went out of stock, its much smaller and not like the pictures advertised on most sites.

I have read this complaint that's why I am considering the Korallin-Zucht calcium reactor media

It’s also not as pure as the older version. Small pieces of shells and even small rocks mixed in. Bah.
Thats not good, one of the store online mentioned that the media had changed. They must have a reason for switching but shouldnt compromise quality of product, specially for consumer end and their investments.

Yup, the current version is not the same!! I just got a 44lb box and not even close. The box is labeled Reborn Large media, It's more like sand than coarse media. Tons of other stuff in there too, like shells and rocks as mentioned above. Super disappointing - will not be buying again. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacement too.

Yeah the more I read here it's sounding like what I have been reading all over. I think I am going to go with Korallin-Zucht calcium reactor media. I do know the smaller the media the more chances your reactor will get clogged.

Deltec usa , talks about this on one of their videos for the unboxing of CRTT Calcium reactor on FB, they also use a Korallin-Zucht style media to prevent cloggs.

I’m curious whether, in the litany of complaints, anyone’s actually used the new reborn supply and concluded that it is inferior? The new source of supply is certainly different; it’s not sand LOL, but the coral pieces are smaller. I’m about to replenish my CaRx. I don’t see shells or rocks.
