Calcium reactor pump help

Old school reefer now new school. Think I’m going to step away from 2 part due to volume and cost now that I’m over 100ml a day in my 280g system. Hooking up my old MTC pro cal calcium reactor but my trusty pcx 40 is squeaking at times and seems hot. Is there a non submersible or submersible substitute that folks recommend? There has to be an option more energy efficient nowadays?
