I thinking about adding a calcium reactor to my Red Sea Reefer 450 which has approximately 100 gallons with medium SPS. Any recommendations on a reasonably priced reactor? How about sylinoud?

GEO. Get a 612 with a UMC addon canister for degas chamber. Complete setup should be about $375 ish.

Well I have never owned any other calcium reactor but a Geo. Everyone recommended them, so I just followed suite. That being said, after having mine for many years I see why. First off its a set it and forget it calcium reactor. You really don't have to make any changes to it once you dial it in. Its easy to service and dead quite. That about sums it up. I'm sure there are plenty of others that fit the build, but I recommend the geo any day. Great product!

Also its best to put a needle valve adjustable on the effluent.
