Hey guys. Need some help here. I have the following

Aquarium plants regulator
Cr 3000d calcium reactor (dual chamber)
W/ ph probe in first chamber
Connected and controlled by apex
(Ph set points 6.9 -7)
Kameor pump which is pulling through reactor @ 40 mls per min (I believe)

Current settings on regulator are
3 psi and bubble per seconds set at 4

The regulator currently cycles every 20 mins I’ve turned down the bubble per second to 10 and everything.

My goal is to reduce the cycle times to 3-4x a day or just flat line it.

I can’t turn down the psi any further but the bubbles are not clean it’s like fragmented. So seems like psi is still too much. But can imagine the solenoid working if I go any lower.

Thanks for any advice.

is your bubble count as low as it will go? I dont have that regulator so I dont know how the control box works exactly. 3 psi is super low for pressure. I run 10 and wouldn't think of going lower for fear the check valve wouldnt even work. If your bubble count is at its lowest point, increase your effluent to make it weaker. Less contact time, less supplement. If you can reduce the bubble count further, do that first until you bottom out. If thats still too much, increase the effluent rate until the ph is just barely lower than your display. Eventually you'll find it. Not super scientific, but that's how I tuned mine, and I now havent had to adjust it in well over 6 months.
