Hey guys.

need some help. I’m trying to fine tune my reactor. Currently my solenoid goes over every10-12 mins. I’m trying to prevent the wear and tear on the apex.

current settings

PSI. 3-4 lbs
32mls - Flow is the kameor. Setup to pull the water through the reactor.
ph is 7.10-7.20

Again it cycles every time 10-12 mins but now sure how to reduce it. If I Lower psi. No bubbles. If I extend the ph range alk fluctuates too much.
Thanks for any advise and stay safe

I and others have found that you use a solenoid as a preventative device to keep your ph from falling below the turn to mush level. Using it to control ph is a head ache. The best method is to have the flow and bubble rate set so you have an effluent of around 25 DKH.............. Those can be adjusted together if your tank needs less or more calcium / alk
If you search for posts by jda on calcium reactors you will find very helpful advice .
