I was using a hanna calcium checker and always said 500 to 600. I started running all 4 reef dosing 45ml a day and still the same results. Switched to red sea pro and doesn't turn purple not blue to the very end. Started adding reef fusion 1 cal. 70ml a day for week and still not registered. Do I need a different cal or should I just let the all 4 reef run. Alk is steady 8.4 to 8.6

Lots of folks have issues with the Hanna calcium test, and I do not recommend it for that reason.

Whatever kit you use, try it on some new salt water to get a feel for it.

So just all 4 reef and calcium will catch up?

If AFR alone is maintaining alkalinity, then it will be maintaining calcium at whatever level it was when you started the AFR, plus a tiny rise each day which is nit any concern if you do regular ordinary water changes.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
