If you can go, Unique Corals. You need to make an appointment, but their farm is second to none in the LA area.

Golden State Corals is close and open without appointment, it’s right by Vivid aquariums and UC. They have such a clean small shop wih great coral selection, need to give them a call to be let in through the gate during weekends. They have soo many sticks if you’re into acros

Surprised no one has mentioned Amazing Aquariums & Reefs in Orange. That place is solid.

I'm a fan of Ellis. Unless you buy QT-ed fish, you gotta be careful when ever you buy any livestock (that includes snails/crabs). I've bought fish from Jason over the years with no issues.

LAX is big, but I feel they are too expensive. It's like they price the fish high so they can have a sale and sucker people into thinking they are getting a deal.

And you better watch your back in Bompton

You'd have to be really stupid and disrespectful to get into trouble there.
Also helps if you don't look or dress like a baller, and don't bring out your exotic sports car.

Well, the roads are all FUBARDED there with pot holes, that you probably wouldn't want to bring any car with low profile tires.

Avoid the owner of Seaside Tropical in Huntington Beach bc he is rude at times & doesn’t like to answer pricing question, which is odd cuz their prices aren’t clearly labeled. Selection of fish and coral is just okay.

Tong’s Tropical in Fountain Valley has about equal selection but their pricing are better labeled and everyone there is helpful and friendly.

Harry’s Marine Life in Gardena has the biggest selection of fish and coral. It is in a warehouse/wholesale setup. They have rare and ordinary fish and coral. They also have a lot of inverts.

Bc they are all retail stores that get livestock nearly weekly, I always QT them & doing so has cut down on casualties by quite a bit.

If you're in the Anaheim area, you've gotta check out Amazing Reefs and Aquariums. Best display tanks period.

This, it looks like the moon when your driving down the street, the closer to the 91 fwy you get the worse it is due to the trucks.

Going to cali this weekend. Ill be in the LA area and I was wondering if there are any must go to stores
Harry's Marine Life is also a must drop by if you are in the area! It is off the 110 freeway in Gardena, I know you will be in the OC, but it is worth the drive! But if you do go to LAX Aquarium then Harry's is nearby.
But Tong's in the OC is a great shop, along with the Reef Lounge's in Anaheim and Norco too!
