Could anyone help me troubleshoot my carbon doser?

I contacted aquarium plants.com and they were very rube and unhelpful.

I turn the co2 tank on and the turn it off. The high pressure gauge then depressurizes over the next 30mins from 2000psi to 1000psi and then all the way to 0 over the next couple hours.

I have sprayed the device with soapy water and cannot find any leaks.

I am really disappointed with this device. The owner is particularly abrasive and I’m not sure why I just asked for help troubleshoot I didn’t request a refund.

You might try adding a co2 washer/gasket even though the Carbon doser has an oring. Mine was leaking just like you described and the employees at AirGas helped me solve my issue by adding the washer.

I had the same problem with my Carbon Doser after eight years. The O ring can where out. You can buy them on Amazon. Search for CO2 Tank Leak Stopper. All you need is the correct sized Allen wrench.
