2-3 weeks ago I added a handful of caluerpa prolifica to my sump on top of a dsb , today it looks like the pic below
Going to harvest Wednesday when I do a full run of tests (will be 1 week since last) , to know if anything needs reducing/ increasing etc
Hair algae’s subsiding , it’s probably outcompeting the gha
I’m hoping it’s keeping my nutrients stable so .03 po4 and 10 no3 will indicate yes it’s working efficiently
Keep you posted

FYI it’s right under a 6500k 80w equivalent led bulb , took a little while to put its roots down and now it’s flying

Couldn’t resist no3 - 15ppm
That’ll do !

I will add that I was heavy feeding a few days to raise po4 from 0.01-0.03 so obviously no3 will also increase but it’s a level I’m happy with cos my tanks very happy
