I asked this same question a while back and the answer I got was basically don’t bother trying. It bugs me having to open another app (I personally use Kasa cameras) when the function to view a camera is built into fusion.

Getting a video feed within Apex is an absolute trial of patience. It would make Mother Teresa cuss.

Even after you get it to work inside Apex, a good strong breeze knocks it offline

Go with WYZE and just use the WYZE App to view.

PRO TIPS...

Not sure you're setup but some of the Wyze cameras MUST be setup using the 2.4ghz wireless SSID thru both the camera and your phone, etc.

Need 3 bars of strength or better on the 2.4 signal. 2 bars and below, Wyze reeeeeeally struggles

If you try initial setup connected to 5ghz wifi SSID or the celltower.... in many cases it will NOT work

But once the camera talks to your 2.4ghz network and you can see video, you can go back to 5ghz wifi or celltower

Send me $20... lol... I just saved you 2hrs of frustration of hearing "Ready to Connect" 3,000 times

I never had an issue setting up Wyze cams, which is surprising because my router doesn’t have to ability to make separate SSID for the different frequencies.

It seems like this should be a non-issue with Cameras the way they are. I mean I have a camera on my 3d printer that I can use to monitor through Octoprint. Seems like there should be something. Also when I look at the Neptune Dashboard, there is a like for 4 or 5 different ways to stream video there....

I've only been able to get my d-link 2132 to work with fusion. Wyze does not work. D-link requires a port forward on my router, and this url format. http://username:password@publicipaddress:externalport/video/mjpg.cgi
