Camera Suggestions?

I am looking to buy a camera for tank photography. I'm currently looking at the Canon - EOS M50 Mirrorless. Does anyone have any experience with this camera? Or any suggestions on another camera? Maximum price range is like $600-700.

I would suggest that you check out digital photography review. The site gives all sorts of information on cameras and lenses.

Best thing I can suggest is go to a photography forum and ask. Your chance of an answer specific to that camera is much higher.

That camera needs an adapter to use Most of the higher end lenses. I would look at a camera body that can mount standard EF lenses. Go with a rebel.

I shoot with Canon gear, just not very familiar with that level of gear.

Most important thing is the lens... much more so than the camera body. The M50 is a good camera and will take good pictures. You need to factor in the need for a high quality macro lens. Tamron makes a good 90mm macro at a reasonable price. If you can afford it after the glass, get a full frame. I use a Sony.

Great general purpose zoom lens, but if you are buying for the purpose of shooting a tank you need a 1:1 macro to get the details.
