Can’t grow coraline

Your tank is young and you started with dry base rock. I think this is often overlooked in the hobby. When I came back 2 year ago I did the same As it seems rhenlooukar,
Responsible thing that some were doing. I even seeded with 2 types of bacterias. It took me a year before I could grow acros! It’s been a long journey and one of learning.

So what the others see saying and get some coralline scrapings. Keep everything consistent and it will come. Sometimes it just takes patience.

I used this when I started my 29 gallon biocube 5 weeks ago and coraline is already starting to grow on the bare bottom, frag rack and wave maker.

I’ve used 3 bottles of that so far and it does work. Just follow the directions.

Low pH means that fewer carbonate ions are available to be used for calcification. You can read up on pH in the chemistry subforum if you want a more in depth explanation.

What would ph have to do with coraline?

Yep when coraline happens it takes off fast.
