yeah, this doesn't surprise me... he's acted like this his whole career, and always creates problems. With that said I am a pat fan, so I'm excited only because Bill wont put up with that crap, and AB knows it so he will buy into the system....

Not sure he has the ability to concoct that plan but his agent has done it before and has a close relationship with the pats and has made deals for problem children before. James Harrison did it before and Corey Dillon and Randy Moss to name a few. He still lost 30 million. He is a me first guy not a team player and has no respect for authority. Good riddance and hope it is the downfall of the Pats! Now let’s go Steelers turn up the heat tonight while this narcissist watches from the sidelines. And that is only if he thinks he can get some air time otw he won’t be their to support his team he joins this coming Monday!

I wondered how you’d feel about it. I’m glad you know his agents back story. Makes sense that someone else may have had the insight to encourage him to act like that.

Think he was acting crazy cause he wanted to be released, rather than breaking his contract? Or can we not attribute that level of thinking to his antics?

His agent was pushing for him to go to NE before he went to Oakland

Pittsburgh wouldn’t let it happen. I get wanting a choice in where you go, but the way he went about it was all wrong...... There was pretty much no chance he played a full season, giving full effort from the time he found he was going to the Raiders

He has what he wants, but apparently he has said “you get what you get” in regards to being held to whatever standards etc. NE WILL release him if he pulls anything. NE is the same team that sat Wes Welker for a half for a VERY minor comment in a press conference, and that was when Welker was their #1

But yeah, he, and Gordon, will probably be studs this year. Imagine being in their division? Sucks for those teams


Edit: And if NE bails on him, he will have to play for a HEAVY discount for anyone else to touch him.....
