Hey team! So this algae came in with my feather duster and it is starting to spread to other areas of the tank. It is really tough, brown and not easily removed at all. It sticks really well to whatever it is growing on. If anyone has any ideas on what it is and how to remove it that would be great!

Ooo I just googled that and yes I would say the pics match. Thanks! Also sounds like a nightmare to try and get rid of. Especially seeing as it is growing on the tube of the feather duster.
Yes I am sorry, but yes it’s a nightmare to get rid of. I am battling it myself. Only thing is working for me is a blue tuxedo urchin.

If you can get the feather duster out of the tank and remove this stuff out of the tank, that would be excellent.
